The carnival was our love for our community out loud. It was there in the vivid hues, the song, the dance, the up tempo flourishing of our culture.

When the light within needs to get up and dance, to become a flashing light in a sea of others, that is carnival.

As in the cell cycle the cell must double to divide, carnival is when our sense of love and joy doubles. Thus we can give to all around us with ease... then comes the next carnival!
