Manor houses were built from the profits of these coal mines. They were built by men whom say they follow the word of prophets. They destroyed our families for generations, reduced once proud and functional societies to rubble. Entire families were down those mines, no light all the day long, suffocating in dust, cooking in the heat. There can be no family life, no health of body or brain in such conditions. All traditions that keep humans healthy are lost. It was slavery. Pure and simple. We were free to live in filth, to waste on poor sustenance, to suffer, to bury our children... and should we need rest we were free to lose our home, to starve and die. Gentry never got there by being gentle. It was barbaric and our communities still bear those scars. Generations later it is all so sanitised. The monsters are dead. We cannot rewrite history, no hold to account those who never committed such social murder. We believe in the innocence of every child at birth - not by a "sins of the father approach." We seek peace, fraternity, fairness and good health for all. All we ask is that those who hold power and influence do the same with genuine heart and soul. Integrity matters.

The coal mines were our coffins and every day we were buried alive until the day came when we passed on. There was no family life. There was no such thing has happy. There was no sun, nor birdsong, nor feeling of comfort. Yet the mine owners built such homes of opulence and had the gaul to complain about their lot. Yet I'd rather be in hell than a master of it, I'm sure of which sins God forgives and those that need none.
