Posh to my way of thought is a state of being, it is elevating the self to the point where you feel able to turn around and help others. One can only be a rescuer when one no longer requires rescue.

I think there is a level of self care that can be viewed as posh, yet if you see what it really is, a sort of community care and nurture, it is part of what we evolved to require.

Some items that are seen as posh are only viewed that way because the money-nexus links items that have no connection. A car can't be food, neither can a new computer. Yet there is reasonable cause to ask that resources be used wisely in a way that conserves our planet for the good of all.
