"I'm not sure," said Sandra, in a peevish tone, "if there is anything quite so stupid or annoying as a secret valentine. If they don't have the balls to tell me that they love me then they aren't suitable are they? Who needs some wimpy boyfriend too scared to declare his love? Honestly! It would be better if they kept their anonymous sentiments to themselves." And with that she threw the card into the recycling bin and left the room.
