I can't sleep tonight under this dull purple sky. My eyes are closed to fend off the haze, the smog, that is irritating my eyes. My mind keeps spinning over the economy, and I wonder why we didn't see it for what it was years ago. The global economy wasn't a trade system at all, it was war. It how the original dominators, the colonialists, carried on raping the earth for whatever they wanted. All we had was subjugation and domination by another name. The poor stayed poor, the rich got richer, the media heralded the few who jumped into the elite category so that the minions would agree it was a fair system. Then came the machines, intelligent, logical, with no need for lunch breaks or sleep. There was no job they couldn't do better than a human worker except true love, but they did such a great imitation people started to abandon their partners for robot companions...
