It appears as if the rich feed the poor, with monetary donations and such, yet when the rich fail to care for the poor the truth becomes all too real; it is the poor that feed the rich. We need each other: some grow food, others engineer buildings or make new technology. We can all stand together, or sink together, and the choice as always, collectively, is ours. In a world without money we simply move food from one place to another, not let it rot when people can't pay for it.
Only a demonetized world can give us optimal neurology, a healthy era with robotised factory and food production, protect against climate change. And though a chequer-board pattern of self-sufficient capable city and country units to give needed flexibility in pandemics isn't entirely incompatible with some form of monetization, it's a whole lot simpler to implement without it.
